Hello , I was wondering if anyone here has tried dehydrating greens and then crushing them into a powder for your bearded dragons ? I buy greens for my babies all the time but I can't feed them fast enough and they go bad alot of the time . Really would like to cut that waste down some and preserve for my beardies . If anyone has any recommendations ? I would so appreciate it . Thanks in advance.

I would avoid feeding dehydrated greens because a major benefit of fresh greens in the diet is to provide hydration. I've found that if you store greens in the fridge in a ziploc bag with a fold of paper towel with the air pulled out then they tend to last for several weeks, especially collard greens. I feed leftover greens and veges to my bug colony (dubia roaches in my case) and that works well to help gutload them.

With six to feed I go through salads rather fast, but since I feed 3-4 different things at a time (rotating others in and out for variety) I do end up with large quantities at a time. What I did was to take a shoe box size bin and drilled a bunch of holes in the top. I rinse all the salad and cut it up, then put them mixed up in the container in the fridge. With a small amount of water left on them after washing they stay fresh quite well, but the holes let any excess out.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
