Hello! I have a juvenile bearded dragon (~7 mo) who joined our family about a month ago. He’s eating his protein really well but not so much his greens, which I’ve been shredding and mixing together and offering in the mornings. When taking him out in our garden this week I noticed he was interested in/licking/experimentally chomping on some of the whole leaves out there. As an experiment I stuck a whole dandelion green leaf in his terrarium and when I came back to check later it was gone, apparently devoured. I know the rule about only offering insects/solid veggie pieces that are no bigger than the space between his eyes. Is it okay to offer his leafy greens in larger/more whole leaf form? Or is there also danger of impaction from leafy greens? Thanks!
