First off, I'm a new owner, and lack experience on this. Now for the actual issue. My bearded dragon, who is only a couple months old has recently been eating the powdered Calcium Carbonate even after all of his insects are gone from it. When he starts doing that, I've been promptly taking away the food dish and washing it out. I mostly want to know if that means he's not getting enough calcium, or if maybe the powder just tastes good? Nonetheless I'd like to also know if I should allow him to eat the powder, or take it out like I've been doing so far.
Thanks!

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
