I ran out of crickets and roaches and only have canned grasshoppers to feed my beardi but I noticed he starts to take deep breaths after eating a few I was wondering if it would be ok to cut them into smaller pieces so he can eat them better or should I not feed him any at all tomorrow morning I ordered 1000 crickets which arrives Tomorrow afternoon around 2-4 pm

Dried food is terrible -- I would wait its not gonna hurt him--- I dont envy you w/ all those crickets--- I would switch to dubias ---- they dont chirp they dont die off as quickly and they dont stink -- and easier to care for

Yeah I used to order dubias but are more expensive lol crickets are cheaper parents buy all my bearded dragons food lol so they dont want to spend lots I tried red runner roaches but their oder irritates me it feels like pepper in the nose ??
