Hey so from what I gather the staples of a young bearded dragons diet should be
Silkworms,
Crickets,
Locusts,
or BSFL

I'm canadian so dubia roaches are not possible. I've been hunting down places to find these insects in Vancouver but i've only found one place that "sometimes" sells Silkworms. I know that i would want them live and not dried and I've also looked at ordering them online, but the shipping rates are ridiculous.

Are there any other West Coast Canadians on this forum and what do you do to find the right insects for your little buddy?

Also would this be a good addition to regular cricket consumption?

Thanks but i don't want to ship from the US to Canada, that would be a nightmare for my wallet but more importantly the feeders. I'm not sure what discoid roaches are, but i was able to get some flattened dead roaches in a thin envelope, but they we're way too big for him and even after i cut them into smaller chunks he wouldn't eat it.

I'd check Supercricket.ca and TheWormLady.ca for Canadian feeder options. I'm not sure what is available more locally but there are a few folks on here from BC who may be able to help you with more info.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
