So my bearded dragon didn’t eat as much insects today, but is eating a lot of greens over insects! He’s still a baby, and I find this quite weird. He does enjoy his greens though and he eats a lot of it! Would this be okay? What would happen if he doesn’t get more insects than greens at his age??

He will be fine. Some times they just know what they need. Just offer line you're supposed to and let your baby figure out the rest.

Offer the insects first thing in the morning, then a second feed of insects with salad in evening if about 3 - 6 months old.

Wont get enough protein from salad and vegs, needs insect protein and insect fats to be healthy and develop properly.

Have you tried changing to a different feeder insect ?
…. this can result in better feeding .

The other option is to handfeed the young dragon.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
