Thorn is quite a few years old now (to the point I've lost track) ~6 I think, and lately I've noticed that her accuracy has been really terrible. She has trouble aiming low and far enough. It isn't that the crickets are too fast for her, it's that she doesn't know how to aim for them correctly anymore. A lot of the crickets I feed her end up dying before she can even catch them. I'm worried she hasn't been eating enough.
My thoughts for why she might have trouble aiming are that either: she's just getting old, she has hit her head against the glass a few too many times when hunting (and damaged her eyesight), or something to do with her baths (cause she's been reacting to them strangely as well). But I really am worried about her.
Do you guys have any suggestions to help her eat? Hand feeding doesn't even seem to work, she just doesn't lean forward enough ):

I guess I would get her into a good reptile vet first to see what is going on- have you tried stunting the crickets making them slower so she can catch them? She should mainly be eating vegies -- can she eat from a bowl and is she eating vegies -- she should only be eating bugs maybe twice a week -- and I think there is some thing you can feed her that will supplement the protein instead of actually feeding live bugs -- its something called Repashy I believe -- some others on here might have some ideas for you

You could also switch to worms for a feeder. That way she doesn't have to chase and can sit in one place and pick them out of a bowl.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
