Is it safe to give my juvenile bearded dragon organic baby food? He doesn’t eat his veggies so I read it’s okay but I’m not sure. He eats the just carrots and just squash one only about 0.3 in a syringe..

Why are you not feeding him greens like mustard collard turnip greens green beans squash fruit-- ? Usually baby food is a last resort I beleive---

I have fed mine applesauce and sweet potato baby food in the past, but only to try to get them to eat something or sneak in meds. I have one who goes on periodic hunger strike & won't touch bugs or greens, and I figure if I can get him to eat anything, it's better than nothing, so I mix in vitamins & calcium with it to keep him going.

He eats Dubia roaches and then I feed him the carrots. He has all fresh veggies offered in his tank. But he will no touch those.

It's O.K to do so a little bit here + there but he will grow in to wanting the greens [ hopefully ] as he gets older. As a larger juvenile it's O.K to hold back the huge amounts of insects + then get the dragon used to a nice salad with a variety of greens.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
