Ok so now that Hiccup is getting to be a year he has really slowed down on the roaches-- question how do I give him his calcium and vitamins now? I am assuming I can dust the salad beings that is what he is eating now - I offer him the roaches but he just watches them run around his tank - thoughts?

I give Honey (1 1/2 years old), calcium with D3 every 1-2 days. Yes you can dust the salad.(I pretend that its salt and I'm her personal chief, lol) you didn't hear anything!

The salads are nutrient rich on their own, so try getting him to eat mainly salads. You don't need to supplement them. Continue to dust the bugs when you feed them, that makes up for deficiencies in the bugs. But the overall diet will be even better if the focus is switched to veges. Offer as much variety as you can (and that he'll bother eating).

Today I gave him cucumber along w/ yellow squash mustards apple and sweet potato- I will be giving him zucchini here this next week- I also be giving him fresh green beans - all vegies are fresh not frozen or canned etc....... good to know that I dont haft to worry about the calcium and vitamins so I will sprinkle on his greens then

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
