Today an employee of the local exotic pet shop told me my 3 month old beardie could eat hormworms longer than the length between its eyes because they are so soft bodied and juicy. Is this true? I just want to feed them as treats every once and a while. But dont want to risk anything, choking, impaction, ect. Are there any other dangers or advantages to feeding hornworms as treats I should know of?
BTW the worms she said were fine for it were 2-3 times the distance between my dragons eyes.

Soft and squishy worms like silkworms and hornworms longer than the space between a dragons eyes are fine.

The rule applies to insects who have hard exoskeletons like crickets , roaches, locasts etc.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
