Phoenix worms now full on bugs?

Hey so awhile ago I got my beardie some phoenix worms because he absolutely loves them. 500 of them. Well, now the worms are beginning to turn into whatever bug they're supposed to turn into I opened a container of them and they're all now just some winged bug (black solider flies??). I guess I waited too long?? So, in this state is it safe to feed to my beardie still or do I just need to throw them out? And, if it is still alright to feed to him, how the heck do I go about trying to feed him something that flies around!! (I swear after this I'm just gonna go back to giving him roaches lol)

Yep those are black soldier flies. My dragon loves eating them. They are pretty slow moving and easy to catch. You can pinch them and offer them that way. If they get away they are pretty easy to track and will tend to gravitate toward a window. You can just pinch them to get them back pretty easily. Quite safe to feed them and they are a good snack.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
