I have to mostly agree with the thought that the 20 % insect to 80% veg. ratio is not realistic. Both bugs + veg. are important and some dragons love a big salad while others don't. Feeding a number of insects a week, without over doing it is the key.[ you'll never see a fat beardie in the wild, or even one that has anywhere near the heft of most captive dragons ]
So for adults, whether it be feeding 7-8 insects 3X a week or 2-3 insects every day ,[ depending on the size of the insect ] is more realistic, along with whatever greens you can get them to eat. The insects should be gutloaded with high quality veggies as much as possible.
