Automatic Vacation Feeder

Hey guys! I just wanted to share some very very rough ideas for vacation feeders. I found the cricket one on a chameleon forum but I couldn't find it again to give credit. Im open to suggestions just remember that these are just proof of concepts and If they work I will make much better ones.

It's an interesting thought. Perhaps some kind of time release could be incorporated into it so the bugs don't get out all at once or too soon. Maybe have a door open by being attached to a gear connected to a timer (like how a manual outlet timer works).

That would be awesome to have an automated feeding system. I was thinking of trying to draw up something for it, it would deal with cup feeding though, because that would be easiest i think of having a system where it drops the feeders into the cup. But then again if something goes wrong while u are away then someone is going to be very very hungry when you get back, and i dont know if i would want to take the risk of something malfunctioning and it stop working.
