Smelly can o worms

1st time bearded dragon grandma here lol (he belongs to my daughter)

Forgot to refrigerate the opened can o worms, they smell funky now. Can I use them or should we throw them out and get a new can?

If they don't smell right, I wouldn't risk using them. I suggest offering live bugs instead of canned as well. The live bugs will provide needed hydration and can be gutloaded on fresh veges to provide additional nutrition. Crickets are a popular option as are black soldier fly larvae and silk worms.

We have crickets too. The can o worms came with the starter kit. Thanks for the feedback...glad I found this site
