I am having a problem with my bearded dragon, I feel as if he isn't eating enough. Every morning I put fresh water and a decent size strawberry cut into little pieces. My beardie ends up eating a third somestimes a quarter. I have been doing this for 2 weeks now. Before I was told that all he needed was adult bearded dragon food by rep-cal and he would be happy. My dragon is 16 inches long or 40 cm. I fear that he is going to starve please help.

I would try offering a much bigger variety of veges. Check this list for some good ideas of what to offer. http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html I would start with cut up yellow and green squash, chopped green beans, and maybe some chopped green bell pepper along with some staple greens such as collard greens, turnip greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens or bok choy greens and see if he has any interest in those. He should also get some bugs in his diet. If he is an adult (over a year old or so) then he should have about 20% of his diet as live bugs. Some good options are roaches, crickets, silk worms, black soldier fly larvae, hornworms, among others.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
