Feeders other then crickets?

I have a baby beardie and right now I'm giving him crickets for his insects. I was hoping to give him some variety with his bugs, dubia roaches seemed like a good option, but I'm in Florida so that not an option, and I've read some people say that BSFL and mealworms have to hard of exoskeletons for him to properly digest. I was hoping someone could help me out as to what else I could give him or if the BSFL and mealworms are okay?

BSFL are very good for beardies they are very soft and full of calcium. Meal worms are no good.

There are some other roaches that are legal, dubias just happen to be the most common. Other good sources are silkworms

Try discoid roaches or polymorphic roaches, both are Florida legal. http://www.roachcrossing.com has a full list of Florida legal roaches they sell.

Silkworms are hard to beat as a staple feeder insect, not many lizards can resist them .
