To Cook or not cook Squashes

I have been reading though some of these forums as we are new owners to a bearded dragon and am very confused as to whether or not to cook or not cook squashes before feeding to my sons Beardie. The nutrition sheet I found on this site with all the safe veggies and plants said to cook, but many people have said you don't need to. Is there a right or wrong way and is there a reason why you would cook certain veggies versus not cooking them. Thanks!

I've never cooked squashes for my beardies, always raw. Just make sure what you're feeding is appropriately sized for your dragon, since squash is generally harder than other veggies.

I just chop up squash and offer it without cooking as well. It can be served cooked if you prefer though. Some of them may prefer a softer texture to the relatively crunchy texture and vice versa.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
