a male or female?

i am curious if my beardie is a male or female? i look at it and it has small knots all the way across from one leg to the other and the area where it uses bathroom has to little knots on each side. if that makes since im curious if someone can help me figure it out. plus i noticed that it was sitting on its log and started pushing its throat out and opening its mouth what does that mean?

I think its male. As female would have one single oval looking bulge just below(from Body down) the pouch

The throating thing is totally normal this is their way of stretching their throat muscles as they are warming up getting ready for food. Or sometimes it's their way of stretching their throat as to help break the skin loose if they are preparing for a shed.

As for your beardies sex we would need to see a pic to help you to determine that.
By your verbal description it does sound male.
