Really soft belly scales?

So my baby Nova has a really, really soft belly!
The scales are very smooth and just feel silky soft!
None of my previous beardies had soft scales like that.
I wonder why Nova is so soft?

Probably just the way the scales grew. Possibly in a smaller/tighter configuration than the others, leaving them feeling a bit softer.
