Hey guys! I joined this group today hoping someone could help us out! This is Dabs! He’s two months over a year old and such a happy guy! Loves to snuggle, LOVES his veggies, super active and LOVES SWIMMING! Lol but for some reason I cannot get this stuck shed off the top of his head! It’s driving me nuts. I try to help him (only when I can tell it’s ready to fall off) and he definitely lets me know when he’s not comfortable with me picking at him.. please any advice? Thanks in advance !!

Hey there, your little guy is O.K but don't pick at the shed at all. That will come off when it's ready but if you pick it off it can cause damage to the new scales underneath. So you have to resist the impulse to pull it off. Here's a pic of one of mine with his head + other body parts in shed.

This is not stuck shed, it's normal because they shed in stages. :)

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
