Since Charlie is at my work, and we are a public building, I often have to wear a mask when I go out to check on him. I've discovered he seem unsettled when I'm wearing one of my black or darker colored masks. I think he thinks I'm blackbearding at him.

That's quite possible. They do react to different colors. Probably need a bright orange or yellow mask to indicate happy :lol:

They will do that. Our breeders stay in black cages. This, at first, was a major adjustment. Dragons are very attracted to red as well.

You know, that actually makes a LOT of sense!!! I’m interested to hear if he reacts differently based on “happier colors!”

Charlie loves red things, so I should try a red mask. I have a couple. He's still snoozing this morning. Lazy bum.
