Does anyone else notice their dragon has a salty smell, or is Mari just a salty lizard? She gets baths once a week and her enclosure is spotless, and it’s not a bad smell, it’s just a kinda lightly salted lizard smell. ?
Also I only smell this when she’s right up by my face. I have a cockatiel who has a waxy smell because birbs smell waxy, so do lizards just smell salty? Lol. It’s kinda weird that I sniff my pets. (Many people sniff their birds. I don’t think people sniff their lizards as frequently.)
I have sensitive olfactory glands so I can pick up on a lot of aromas.
