Got a new plant but not sure if it's safe to use

Postby glutius » Sat Sep 12, 2020 7:04 am

Was at the supermarket and saw a little plant nicely decorated and the tag above said aloe vera, so I got it. As I was looking at the bottom of the base, it says "a crassulaceae", which is something totally difrrent. It has succulent leaves but still found no info if it's safe for beardies.

Any knowledge is appreciated!

I believe they are safe but if in doubt, leave it out. Here is a list of pet safe plants but I believe they have dogs + cats in mind.

Succulents are a no-go.

If you want a really good plant, my suggestion is to use cilantro. It's edible and safe, and you can very much skimp out on making salad once in a while because the salad is provided. XD
