Hi! I went to the vet yesterday and he suggested giving my beardies ground-up eggshells instead of the usual calcium dust.
Is that safe? Is it a good source of calcium for them?
I just want to make sure before I do anything because I've seen a lot of conflicting information on this.
Thanks!

The information I've found on this is that egg shells contain bacteria and need to be boiled first in order to kill bacteria or you risk making your beardie sick. You can pulverize after boiling but I wonder why we shells were recommended instead of commercially produced calcium supplements?

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
