Yellow fungus or just missing scales?

I’ve had Asher since November 2019.
He is a leatherback, probably 11 months old.
His color varies from yellow to a sandy color.
I just noticed this yellow spot on the base of his tail/ hip bones. He is my first bearded dragon so I’m not sure if this is yellow fungus? I’ve seen a few topics about it before. Or if he is just missing some scales now. Wasn’t able to find any other spots on him. Looks like he’s getting ready to shed in certain areas right now too. Please help a worried gal out if you know what this spot might be. Thanks In advance!

Hello,

That area looks like it has just had some trouble with sheds. How long has it looked
off color?
It definitely isn't yellow fungus though, so no worries there. You could put some aloe
vera gel or organic coconut oil on the skin at night, to see if there is some improvement
on that area.

Thanks! I’ll try that!
I just barely noticed it Saturday April 23rd.
He hasn’t shed since February 22nd.
His appetite and activity has been down a bit since then too.
But I was hoping it was just cuz it he was becoming an adult.
