Hi there,

I am a new bearded dragon owner. I just got the new little guy from Petco last week using a grant I received for classroom pets. Right now, I am home and planning on keeping him/her as my personal pet. He/she seems to be doing well, despite coming form Petco. Seems healthy, eating, active and pooping everyday. I'm pretty amazed by how observant and alert he/she is.

I picked him/her out because it was a very different color than all the rest of the babies. They were all regular brown colored and this one seemed to be dark grey, light grey and then has some orange along it's back. Looking online, I can't seem to find other ones that look like it. From researching, the closet it look like is a black morph. Is this a normal color or pretty rare? Will he/she stay this color?

Hi there, that's a nice looking little dragon. :) He is probably just getting ready to shed, that's how they look. There are dark beardies out there but no actual black morph.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
