2 day vacation, what to do?

Hello
I have a 5 month old(8 inch 25gram). I need to leave town and he would be alone for 2.5 days. Lights are on times and i have increased numbers of roaches on each feeding this week. I was going to give a good feeding just before leaving and also leave a big salad and water. Maybe let some roaches loose in viv. Thinking of putting together a traveling viv but not sure its necessary.

Thanks

Hi Chris,

2.5 days is no big deal. Leave some salad and if you have an escape proof dish, leave some bugs in there. They are more than capable of surviving a few days without you feeding them.

I agree, for that short of a period it shouldn't be a big deal with a full belly and lights on timers. Might want to put newspaper down as substrate to make cleanup easier when you get back. Short trips like this get much easier as they get older too.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
