Most vets are playing a guessing game when it comes to dragons unless they are a qualified herpatologist. Yes they can help in some situations but some can do more harm than good.
As for them telling you to stay off the internet for answers, that's crappy advice. If it wasn't for this site and a few others we would be dependent upon places like petsmart for answers and, as we all know they are clueless most of the time. Also most books about dragons need to be updated in a bad way.
