First shed-Bedtime

So Muffin is in the middle of the first shed (since I've had him/her). I've noticed Muffin doesn't seem very lethargic but tends to want to go to bed earlier and wake up later. Should I be changing the light cycle to make it easier for Muffin to sleep?

I would shut his lights off for him if hes climbing into his hide etc early- but would still turn them on at the same time in the morning-
