Just curious. He looks so different than Izzy did. I didn't know there were different kinds until I read on here.

He has small spikes on his sides. But his back is pretty smooth. Much smoother than my other one. I got her as an adult though. But I don't know if that's from him being so little still or not.

His morph is a leatherback.

Does he have perfectly clear nails or is their a dark line in them. If the nails are perfectly clear he'd be a hypo leatherback.

From what I could see, they look clear. Nails are so small right now and he was so squirny. So hypo it is then (probably). Pretty cool, considering he came from Petsmart. ??? Thanks Brandon!

Very beautiful ! Looks like ones I hatched out years ago. Can you get closer pics to verify if he's a leather ?

Thanks! We're proud of him.?

He doesn't like the "magic box of doom" too close. Or in his tank from that matter. He turned around just long enough for me to snap this:

Got as close as I could then cropped it. I can try again if I need to. Just let me know.

One more. Had to be a contortionist to get this one. Much closer though.

He's sitting over the top part of his branch so it's making his back rounded out right now.

It's a leatherback, not a real smooth one but has some very nice markings. :)

Okay thanks!. I'm interested to see what he looks like as he grows. Hope the colors stay bright. Doesn't matter really. I'm his slave already anyways.

Very good pic. :) Your little guy is like a reduced scale dragon, leatherback but not real smooth. Here's pic of one of my babies that had leatherback siblings but was not one himself, yo can see the bumpier /rougher scales that a normal scaled dragon has.

What a pretty baby! Stripes look like blue almost? Wow. Yeah I see the difference. Same type of bumps/scales that my adult had.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
