Hello Beardie Family! Jan 9th we purchased a fancy bearded dragon for our 12 yr old son. We were scared, nervous & inexperienced! Many came to our aide from these forums and helped with answering questions. We are greatly appreciative of everyone’s support. I’m over joyed to share Mushu’s jounrney thus far. He is thriving and growing crazy fast! He’s just finished a full body shed. We feed him Dubia roaches as his main protien source along with Phoenix worms & his veggies/supplements. He’ll also have crickets in between shipping times waiting for his. dubias! He LOVES them Dubias!
After his dinner tonight he weighed in at 226.5g and is 15” long. He’s just finished a shed last night after almost 2 weeks. After a shed his colors are so vibrant. We bought him a leash of which he wasn’t super excited about. Matter of fact he pooped on me to show how happy he was about the process lol!!
We go on our first camping trip Easter weekend in the travel trailer. Mushu will tag along as well! I’m a bit nervous but we will take all of his things and hope it all goes well. I’ll attach some pics of our process since Jan.
