Are bearded dragons from pet stores okay with being handled? Or are they really scared by everyone? And if one comes from the pet store into their new home how long will it take for them to get used to their new house and family? When would be a good time to try and take the dragon out and keep it in your lap when doing something else like watching a TV show?

No matter where a beardie comes from, it will take time to acclimate to a new environment BUT many beardies in pet stores come from not so reputable sources - aka, a reptile version of a puppy mill. The breeders are in it for money, not the beardies. That being said, my Charlie comes from Petsmart and I've had no issues with him save being a spoiled brat  Every beardie is different, I would give them a few days to a week to get used to the new home before handling too much. But handling them every day to socialize them or as frequently as you are able is important.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
