Do bearded dragon's click, or pop their tongue on the top of their mouth when their happy? Whenever I hold my dragon and she snuggles me, she makes a clicky, popping noise, like when you click your tongue on the top of your mouth. She sometimes will open her mouth a little. I have read that it could be respiratory infection and that high humidity causes it, and hers is in the 60s but I live in Texas and i can't afford a dehumidifier. She lives on tile, has been eating and pooping right, not lethargic, I mean she lays around a little but she only does that in her tank or when she is done exploring. Should I take her to the vet or is this normal, because I have heard both sides. :?

Also different topic but is it safe to feed a 2 year old bearded dragon super worms as the main bug but only for 2 days a week? Her old owners seemed to have everything else correct so I went along with it. Also I can't really afford dubias or locusts or horn worms and super worms are the only bugs at the pet store I can afford. Is this hurting my bearded dragon? Also her old owners had been sprinkling the salads with bee pollen. Is that safe, because I have still been doing it...

The clicking happens sometimes when they are warm. My guy will sometimes burp and smack his tongue which makes a clicking sound. It's not necessarily a problem and not likely a respiratory infection if that's the only symptom.

As an adult I'd focus on feeding a wide variety of veges. A nice big salad every day. Bugs once or twice per week. It's OK to dust the salad in bee pollen if you want, but it's not necessary. The supers are OK as a treat but are not great as a main protein source. I'd offer as much variety as you can with bugs. Maybe try introducing some black soldier fly larvae. You can get them from Symtonbsf based in Texas. https://symtonbsf.com/collections/live-black-soldier-fly-larvae/products/large-feeding-grade-grubs

What is the best feeder for 2 days a week always? I usually give her a large salad with mustard greens, bell pepper, and carrots, and she always eats that. So, I think she is doing well with greens, I am just uneasy about the protein. Dubias could work, but how many dubias would equal 15 supers? I wouldn't keep a colony if I did them. She hates crickets. Are black soldier fly larva the best option? If I got them would I just do 15 like I do with supers? How long do they stay larva?

The salads should be the main thing and you're offering a good variety. My guy usually eats around 5-10 large dubia in a sitting. He goes through a lot of BSFL. I usually get the cup of 500. They are very small so they can eat a lot of them. Mine usually stay as larvae for a month or so then start hatching in small batches and I just feed off the flies as they hatch. I can easily pinch the flies and hold them out for feeding.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
