Hello, my little beardie is being a right neusense with his thermostat sensor! He wont stop lying on top of it and rising his temperatures, is there a way to teach him to stop?

That's the down side to having the sensor right on the basking area. You could move it to the side and take into account that it will produce slightly lower readings. Otherwise if he's sitting on it and getting higher temps and not moving, that's OK too really. He will move away if it gets too hot.
