Is there any way to minimise the stress my beardies go. Through while shedding as my smaller one has gone off eating due to his or her shedding cycle

There's not a whole lot to do. It's a natural process for them but I can imagine it's pretty uncomfortable. Sometimes baths can help soothe their skin if they like baths. If they don't like baths they aren't worth offering though. Giving them some time on carpet or having something a bit rough like bark in their tank can help them loosen the skin and help the shed along too.
