Hi everyone??
In a few weeks I’m going to get my first bearded dragon! The breeder that I’m going to is 6-7 hours away. I’m going there to visit my uncle, and on the way back I’m buying my beardie. Which causes a tiny problem. How would I travel with a bearded dragon that’s probably stressed out already? I don’t think it would be a problem if she was comfortable with me, but since I’m going to the breeder, picking one out, and then coming home, I think she would get pretty stressed. if you have any suggestions, please help!
Thanks!❤️

In my experience they do pretty well with travel. That depends on the dragon though. I would provide an enclosed space for them so they feel safer. I like having a car carrier a lot but even a large shoebox with a soft blanket or towel at the bottom should do. This is what I use now and I like it a lot because it clips onto a seat belt to secure it and it is enclosed while still providing lots of ventilation https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EW2WKZU/

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
