Hello! I have a question which i think some of you would be able to answer, My 4 month old beardie eats calci worms as her main source of meat (Occasionally some waxworms just 1 every few weeks) But the place i get my Calci worms from sends their worms in soil, its a very dry soil that i try to rub off each worm as much as i can, would this cause impaction after a while? Or should i be cleaning them off first?

Thanks!

I'd suggest dipping the worms in water to clean them off before feeding, this is what I normally have to do. A little bit may not hurt but eventually, it could cause problems if they digest too much of it.

Note that when they are wet they become much better at climbing. I've had good luck putting some in a sieve and just shaking the dirt loose.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
