So, I'm a first time beardie owner. I got Oscar about 2 months ago. Here's what he looked like then:
And here is now:
I'm actually not sure if he's a girl or a boy, but my grandpa called him Oscar, so it kind of stuck. I got him at petco which was probably kind of a questionable source. He had some urate crusted on his tail and legs from the pet store, but I got him cleaned up and found out he really hates water:
He just finished his second shed since I brought him home, and I'm excited to see him get bigger. He's been really grumpy with me this past week because of his shed and move to a new tank, but hopefully he'll chill out soon. This website as an excellent resource for these past two months, and I finally joined when I needed to ask a question about Oscar's enclosure (which is in the enclosure forum). Looking forward to being a part of this community.
