Gentically Linked Diseases

Hi, in my Animal Genetics class we are currently doing a research project on any species we wish and it has to be about a genetically linked disease, I would have loved to cover MBD because it's so widely common but it's not a genetic disease it purely environmental. So I come to you all in my time of research, what is a common disease that's genetically linked that you see most frequently?

Okay so after intensive research, they don't have any researched genetically linked disease, but they do have genetic mutations, or what we call morphs. So I pose another question just in case someone has some input. Out of all these traits hypomelanism, translucent, paradox, zero, albinism, and leucism, do any of them have factors to health? Are some more resistant to parasites and some more susceptible? Are other more likely to injure themselves, do any of the morphs affect behavior? Is some tamer than other? Etc...

I don't know a lot about their genetics, but I do suspect some of the illnesses they get are linked to genetics and inbreeding. Silkback dragons have thin skin and no scales which makes their skin easier to damage and they seem to be more susceptible to illness and injury. That might be a good avenue to pursue for your research.

What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
