Thanks, also does anyone have tips on potty training? I had my little 3mo old guy potty trained, he seems to have changed his poop schedule on me though.. -.- he use to go at around 530-6 pm , and recently he started going at around 11 AM.. Probably cause i changed his feeding schedule.. anyways.. any tips!? thanks

A simple mechanical timer will serve you well. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/Century-Heavy-Mechanical-Timer-Outlet/dp/B00MVEMD76 I like using the heavy duty versions which have a ground spot and the dual outlet ones will let you run the UVB light and basking light on the same timer.

As far as training goes, it's a bit easier as they get older and tend to go once a day or less. They learn through routine so I'd try to set a breakfast routine. Maybe time to bask under a portable light along with some breakfast in an area that has an easy to clean floor. Keep him there (within reason) until he goes and then let him roam around a bit as a reward. After a while he should learn the time and spot to go. This generally works well for me.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
