I’ve owned my Beardie for about a month now. So I ended up buying him a new basking rock. Well it seemed like he loved for for a little and then I went back down to check on him after an hour and he was over by the cool side glass surfing. He did that when I got him but other then that I’ve never seen him do it. So I double checked the temps and it was 103 on his rock which was good. I did give him a bath earlier. And he is shedding his tail. Would these be any reasons?

The shed might have him a bit agitated. He also might be curious and wants to get out to roam around and explore. If you have a safe area for him to roam outside the tank you can bring him out for a while as long as you keep a close eye on him. Letting him run around a bit might help.
