As I was cleaning my 5 yr old beardies cage and other bug stuff, he disappeared. I locked him in a bathroom and he's been in them before and didn't get out. This time I put him in a different bathroom and there's one area that's not sealed but I can't even get my hand through it, he couldn't have gone in could he? Please help and tell me what I can do to find him, what do I do with my 3 dogs? Keep them outside or in a Kennel? I only left him for 2 minutes...

Lizards are slippery little fellas, I had a panic attack a few days ago when my tegu escaped somewhere in my room, we found her asleep in the closet after tearing my room apart. I have no idea why she chose the coldest place in my room to sleep but I suppose when you want to sleep anything works well.. tegus and their winter cool downs are so annoying.
Pretty sure if I die it's going to be caused by her with how much stress she gives me.

She's not full grown by any means but is 22 inches long and as big as a beardie in girth almost, she can probably get in more places than a beardie can for now (she still fits in paper towel tubes and has the girth of about 6 inches at the widest portion of her body), i'd look in that spot that isn't sealed, thats most likely where he escaped.

As for your dogs probably put them in a kennel of sorts while you look, unless its warm outside I wouldn't put them outside.

Maybe setup a basking spot if you can and see if that lures him out.

Thanks Venus. I found him in that tiny space, there's no space for him to move if he decides to stop resting. I had set up a basking spot and some kale, carrots, and some fruit( i don't usually use kale, I usually use collard or mustard greens) but can he move backwards? I know animals like alligators can't but can bearded dragons move backwards? If I got someone with smaller arms, could they use the feeding tongs I have to pull him out? I hope he will be fine, I don't have $1000+ to take apart the bathroom counter top so I really hope I can get him out normally or cut out just a small section of the countertop since the place he's in isn't supporting any weight.

Good news and bad news. I got my beardy out but it'll probably cost me a couple hundred. RIP the dream of having a blue tongue skink.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
