Why does she do this after taking medicine?

Every time I give her her medicine she does this for a good 10 minutes. She hates the medicine and I have to force it into her mouth, is she choking on it? Why does she do this?

It's kind of in between very slight hyper ventilating and just getting those nasty meds. down. If
they aspirated they would actually be coughing in most cases.

Thank you! Good to know I'm not choking her ?? She does that a lot now. I just gave her a greens slurry and she willingly drank 2.5 mls and then she freaked out, jumped off my lap, ran back into her viv and opened her mouth up at me. Something is bothering her when it comes to fluids, just don't know what it is. Maybe she's just traumatized from all the fluids I've been force feeding. ?
