Hi all, Im going on a 3 day 2 night trip away from home. Any suggestions on how I could take care of my beardie? I have my girlfriend's sister to clean up the daily poop and turn on the lights every day as well as provide new vege daily. However she will never be able to feed my toothless crickets, any advice?

It might be a good idea to put the lights on outlet timers so they come on and off automatically on a set schedule. This will be helpful both when you're away and home.

As far as bugs go, if she won't offer crickets, can you store some black soldier fly larvae or silk worms? Toothless' age is also a factor. A younger dragon won't want to go as long without food but an adult would have no problem with a few days away.

My oldest actually liked those pellets you can get at pet stores. My youngest will not touch them..
Dry kibble is an option for a few days if your dragon will eat it, but I definitely would not recommend as a staple, of course.

Otherwise, deep and smooth dishes can contain dubia roaches. I will put some in a bowl for my youngest while I'm at work and he appears to actually eat out of it. Many roaches are gone by the time I'm home and they would not have escaped.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
