UVB

Hey all!!! So I just bought a whole new uvb setup and my beardie hasn’t had uvb for a day and I know that that is very dangerous. I’m trying to let the uvb bulb burn a bit because I heard something saying it is important for it to burn before the beardie uses it (is that true?) let me know what you guys know & think

As far as I know I have never heard that - and the one day w/ out uvb is fine- it's long period of time like a month or longer is not good- please get your uvb set up depending on your screen will determine where it needs to go and the distance

With some MVB bulbs like Megaray and Arcadia there’s a burn in time but with t5’s I don’t think you need to worry about it.
