I also wear >90% of the time black T-shirts. So he might have learnt early on, already in the reptile store, "black T-shirt = food supply", and this continued. But colored T-shirts... and hats... My husband wears them, and in the beginning he interacted less with Taco. So he didn't associate him with "nice wormgiver" in the beginning, and he backed off.
