I'm new to this group and felt compelled to join with the loss of my scaly baby yesterday. My little Emmy ended up with an infection due to being egg bound. Wondering if anyone else has had this experience. It was with the vets recommdations that I ultimately decided on euthanasia. She told me the spay would be$ 700-800 and that was with a 50/50 survival rate. Just feeling incredibly sad and guilty...wishing I could have did something sooner to save her..
