Local shop has neon tree dragon

does anyone know anything about them? Life span? Size? The best they could give me is a care sheet that covers a number of species, but no specifics. They look kinda cool, I grabbed a pic of it while I was there.

Hmm. Sounds like the horned are the larger ones. Perhaps I should wait till I find one though this green one is kinda cool. I once housed an anole in a 10 gal with a plastic top with small holes, real soil and plants, a heat source, and the thing was like a greenhouse. I wonder if a similar setup using one of those tall terrariums would work here? I added water about once a month to the soil and there was always dew on the walls.

Hmm..it says I can mix these with other no agressive lizzards of similar size....um..does a crested gecko count? Sounds like the green ones shown there achive the same realative size.

i dont recommend mixing species but if youre going to do it anyway at least read up on the care of each animal and make sure theyre practically identical and it would probably be best to keep it in the agamid family. simply getting a non aggressive, similar sized lizard wont do. according to that link those guys need temps around 85 and dont fare well with cooler temps, which is basically the opposite of a crested. you put a crestie in a 85 degree tank and youll most likely kill it.
