my son found a small turtles out side and you know kids its a pet now. I don't know what it is or what should I feed it? Guess I need to put a pic on here.

Taking a turtle from the wild is not a good idea. Many cannot adjust and die from stress. Not to mention, you are messing with the ecosystem! Put it right back where you found it and buy him a captive bred turtle from a breeder or from a rescue. You will be better off and so will the turtle!
