Ugh I just recieved my new reptisun. I need a fixture. its 36 in.....any ideas where to find one??? My husband said walmart only had ones up to 24inch. Need help!!!!

uvb is about 8 inches from where she is currently at. does her basking log have to be directly under the uvb? I am wondering if i could move the heat lamp to other side of screen or if I should leave it as it is in the picture. :mrgreen:

Even at 98 she will just hang out down low. More alert with UVB but still not basking much

She recently went a while without UVB. She;s had her reptisun for 4 days now. She seems to not handle the heat. My house averages 85 degrees. Which is warm to us. Basically beardie likes lower temps. Won't bask on her basking spot untill her cage is cooler. It was 98 on her basking spot this...

I also have a temp gun

no stick on in the cage. digital probe from zoomed and the probe in on the basking place.

With our new 40gal breeder our 100w heat bulb is not cutting it. On her basking spot its an average of 91 ish in the mid morning when it heats up it 95-96. I notice she isnt digesting as well. So...Any recommendation for a halgen flood bulb?

Well today we have both small supers and horns coming.

I love them for my girl but i hate the poop that comes with em. would five 2in horns be too much each day all at once?

bottom of cage was 116. So I put in a 100w household clear bulb. 89-90F.

An hour in the lay box nothing but lookin scared. lol

Another little poop. I'm about to put her in the lay bin. THe floor of her cage is at 110! No wonder she only gets on her log after eating. Its only 11 so as it gets warmer I'm sure it will get hotter in her cage. I'll probably stop and get a 60w or 75 w housebulb. I just 2 weeks ago got this...

So its ok to move her back and fourth from viv to lay bin? I read a lot last night. I couldnt sleep :puke:

I know I said my temps are good....but It just started getting warmer here. Maybe I need to go to a 75 watt heat bulb. Maybe being so warm is making her poop more frequently and since she is pooping more than once a day they are smaller? But would that cause her to thrash her cage? She is...

I looked online and saw breeders use storage bins. So I went and bought some play sand. And made her a big ol laying box. I have her heat lamp in there too. 6 hrs and no digging in there.
